The OMNIS Laboratory database contains results of source rocks assessment analyses from the relevant sites located in the sedimentary basins of Madagascar (Example: Tsaramandroso site in the Mahajanga basin). Thus, the laboratory database includes data on the maturation of organic matter in the rock, its oil saturation, etc.

The importance of those data lies in the fact that it serves to estimate the STOOIP of each site.
