Core Storage Facility
Our database is enriched with rock samples, cores and cuttings from E&P wells drilling. These extracted cores are stored according to the sample preservation standards to better define the petrophysical, mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of cap rocks, reservoir rocks and source rocks. Our database is therefore the physical evidence of the geologic and stratigraphic formations of Madagascar sedimentary basins and their hydrocarbons potential.
Documentation Centre and Archives
The centre contains technical documents and archives related to any upstream studies undertaken in Madagascar such as:
- geophysical studies: seismic, gravimetric, magnetic, aeromagnetic, FTG, etc…;
- geological studies;
- well reports ;
- completion reports; and
- field reports
For better data handling and securing, we are currently transcribing our data on magnetic tapes to newer and more innovative media support.
